Our Mission
is to provide free, inclusive, and accessible online mental health care to underserved individuals in Texas.

How we started...
Bridge to Wellness Foundation began when four of our board members came together with a shared goal: to spend our time helping people in a meaningful way. Our president, Blake, suggested that we focus on an area that is often overlooked and significantly underserved within vulnerable communities: mental health and access to therapy.
Several of our board members have experienced therapy themselves and have seen firsthand how much of a difference it can make. We also understand that one of the most important parts of effective therapy is the personal connection and trust built between a client and their therapist.
That belief shapes the way we work. We take a hands-on, one-on-one approach with every client, building personal relationships, staying involved throughout the process, and genuinely investing in their success. Rather than trying to reach as many people as possible with a one-size-fits-all solution, we focus on giving each person we serve the attention, support, and resources they need to make meaningful progress and build lasting stability.

Our Process
We partner directly with local homeless shelters and facilities, including The Other Ones Foundation in Austin, to identify individuals who would benefit most from free mental health counseling. Once identified, we connect them with licensed counseling partner, Synergy eTherapy, and we cover the full cost of care.
After several weeks of therapy, clients are referred to trusted local organizations that provide personalized support, such as job placement, addiction recovery, housing assistance, and more. This ensures they have the tools to stay on their feet and break the cycle of instability.
By removing financial barriers and offering compassionate, coordinated care, we help individuals manage trauma, combat isolation, and begin the journey toward lasting stability, healing, and reintegration into their communities.
